BNI's 2009 Theme

The year 2009 starts BNI's 25th year of operation. When BNI first started, the organization's foremost goal was generating new business for people in a positive, supportive, and structured word-of-mouth marketing program.

Over time BNI learned that there were many more benefits that members experienced in addition to getting more referrals and new business. Early on, our directors and staff learned that BNI truly is about relationships.

It's about a system, teamwork, experience, professionalism, relationships, and much more. Hence, our theme for 2009 ("BNI - Raising the Bar 2009") addresses that notion.
